About Us

MapWhere it all started

Part of the Al Masaood group of companies, Al Masaood Bergum (AMB) has been operating throughout the region since 1978, building up a successful record for providing effective, quality building solutions. Over the years the business has grown into one of the largest commercial organisations in the United Arab Emirates.

Who we are

AMB is the leading supplier of prefabricated steel and timber frame buildings in the Middle East. We design, plan and execute cost-effective, quality projects on time – and within budget.

We currently have production facilities in Dubai, Qatar and Abu Dhabi, and are in the process of building further facilities at Dubai Investment Park and will be expanding across the Gulf.

With more than 3,400 staff (rising from 770 staff in 2004), our people come from a number of different countries, including the UAE, GCC, UK, India, Pakistan, Nepal, South Africa, Australia and Malaysia.

We’re also working to diversify our core business. We have formed a joint venture with global company Hertel (originally Netherlands-based) to undertake offshore accommodation work. AMBHertel is dedicated to integrating services for the oil and gas industry; services such as fireproofing and insulation. AMB is also developing the rental side of our building systems business, as well as servicing numerous high-profile sports events in UAE and Qatar.

Our aim today

Al Masaood Bergum, now a wholly-owned local enterprise, serves the entire Gulf and beyond – meeting organisations’ spatial needs in the most appropriate, responsive and economic ways.

AMB’s philosophy is simple: we are committed to providing customers with solutions for all their building needs. With in-house capabilities to call upon, we produce a quality product – importantly delivered on time and within budget.
