This sytem of construction is extremely quick and when coupled with AMB's ability to offer a full turnkey package, gives the client peace of mind that the project will be completed in the shortest duration and with the minimum of fuss.

Qatar

Project: Design and construction of a 5,500-worker accommodation camp, utility and service buildings, engineered with additional services capacity for 1100 workers in the future at Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar. The original contract period was for 49 weeks.

In total, the metre2 for the project, including space for accommodation and utility buildings was just over 44,000.00m2, which proved extremely challenging and required careful planning and design.

As a result of AMB’s complete commitment to the project, their exceptional site management team and a safe working environment, the construction schedule was met efficiently.  The project progressed from green fields to finished project within the required time period of 45 weeks with over 7.5million man-hours without an LTI (Lost Time Incident).

Dubai Waterfront

Project: AMB was awarded a turnkey contract from Nakheel, which commenced in October 2007, for the first phase of construction of its labour accommodation complex at Dubai Waterfront.

The project includes the design and construction of a 10,000-man accommodation unit, which will form part of a 62,000 overall worker complex. The temporary accommodation units have a 12-year lifespan, providing better living conditions for the company’s workforce.

To date, the project has seen in excess of 1100 people onsite and is planned for completion in June and has recently celebrated 1 million man-hours without an LTI. During the construction period, 1150 safety inspections have taken place, 2250 staff inductions have been carried out and there were 46,000 toolbox talks for employees of the project.

Baku

Project: Hotel Facility in Baku, Azerbaijan

Turnkey construction of a 262-room hotel facility. The project was completed on a fast-track basis, which included accommodation, recreation, conference, sports and restaurant facilities.
